Executive Summary

The objective of PAS is to produce a quality trained fresh pilot for the Indian airlines.  The structured training program will include:

Screening: A complete screening of the candidates for flight training aptitude, medical qualifications, psychological testing, and English language proficiency.

Pre-Flight training: The applicants will be trained at an Indian based ground school.  The 4 week program is fast paced and includes: theory of flight and basic airplane knowledge, air navigation, aviation meteorology, air legislation and rules of the air, and basic simulator training to test hand/eye coordination.  There are exams at each stage of the course, and a merit list of students to monitor their progress.

Flight School: The applicant will be trained at a flight academy in the USA that is best suited for the student. The Flight program includes: a private pilot course, commercial pilot course, the multiengine, and the instrument rating course.  PAS has carefully coordinated with the school and reviewed the syllabus that has been tailored specifically to meet the DGCA requirements.

First Officer Academy: Alteon and PAS have partnered to offer a complete First Officer Academy training solution for airlines around the world to address demand for quality, well trained pilots. The First Officer Academy program will screen, induct and train candidates with no flight experience to become type-rated, certified pilots. PAS will supervise the candidates' ab initio flight training before they proceed to Alteon to complete the Jet Bridge Transition course, which concentrates training squarely on elements that make for a successful First Officer including building crew coordination skills, providing jet indoctrination and extended full-flight simulator hours.

Monitoring: PAS will thoroughly monitor the progress of the students throughout the ground and flight phases of the program.
