PAS Mission:

PAS provides an exclusive full service India National Aviation Training Program using proprietary methodology to:

1. screen qualified students;
2. support advanced pre-flight training in India;
3. supervise flight training in the US;
4. coordinate and support the pilot's type rating;
5. prepare the pilot for license conversion;
6. introduce the pilot to employment opportunities within the airline industry in India.

JEFFREY A PAULK, CEO

PAS Chief Executive Officer, designed this special program to meet the needs of the aspiring young Indian Pilot, focusing the training program to meet the DGCA and Indian airline requirements. His unique combined experience as the United States Air Attaché to India from 2004-2007, and his 24 years as a United States Air Force officer and fighter pilot with more than 3000 command pilot hours is the special formula that gives him the necessary experience and leadership needed to develop and run the most comprehensive flight training program available.

PAS Master Gameplan

PAS has developed a one of a kind systematic and phased approach that is committed to superior training. This system demands excellence at each level and is designed to deliver a well trained pilot to the airlines in the rapidly expanding Indian aviation market.

PAS Screening in India

PAS screens each candidate prior to pre-flight training to determine if the student has the ability to become a pilot and meet the PAS standards of excellence.  If chosen by PAS the student is recommended for pre-flight training.

Pre-flight training in India

The applicants receive a 4-week program that includes: theory of flight and basic airplane knowledge, air navigation, aviation meteorology, air legislation and rules of the air, and basic simulator training to test hand/eye coordination.  There are periodic exams at the end of each module and the candidates are ranked in a merit list.

Flight training in USA

PAS has teamed with flight schools in the USA that are familiar with the DGCA requirements and have an international license.  Following ground school PAS will recommend and help guide the applicant to the right ab initio flight school.  PAS has carefully chosen academies in prime locations that have good year around flying conditions so the student can complete the training in minimum time.  The goal of the course is to ensure the student receives the necessary training required by the DGCA. The performance of the Indian aviator during flight training will be summarized in a merit list which will accompany each student to the next phase and ultimately to the airlines.

First Officer Academy in USA

Alteon and PAS have partnered to offer a complete First Officer Academy training solution for airlines around the world to address demand for quality, well trained pilots. The First Officer Academy program will screen, induct and train candidates with no flight experience to become type-rated, certified pilots. PAS will supervise the candidates' ab initio flight training at Falcon Aviation Academy before they proceed to Alteon to complete the Jet Bridge Transition course, which concentrates training squarely on elements that make for a successful First Officer including building crew coordination skills, providing jet indoctrination and extended full-flight simulator hours.

PAS Conversion in India

Following the completion of US based programs the students will return to India and attend a 4-week training course to prepare the new pilot for conversion of their FAA license to the DGCA license.

Employment

PAS will supervise the induction of the students to their respective airlines.

Monitoring

PAS will thoroughly monitor the progress of the students throughout the ground and flight phases of the program.
